Here is a recipe of Vanilla Madeleine, a lot of people have some difficulties with the bump on the madeleine. But if you follow this recipe, you will get the bump for sure. Do not change a thing on the cooking method. And you'll be sure to have a perfect madeleine.

INGREDIENTS 
75 g butter
40 g milk
1 g vanilla caviar or a vanilla pod
2 eggs
100 g sugar
125 g flour
5 g baking powder
Salt
Preheat the oven to 240°C
Melt the butter, milk and vanilla caviar in a saucepan and let it cool
Put the eggs, salt and sugar into the Cook Expert stainless steel bowl fitted with the eggs whisk (remove the cap)
Run EXPERT / 1 min / SPEED 7 / 0° 
Run EXPERT / 1 min / SPEED 7 / 0° 
Add the milk and butter through the top
Add the flour and baking powder
Run EXPERT / 1 min / SPEED 5 / 0° 
Grease madeleine mold with butter
Fill madeleine molds up to 2/3
Bake at 240°C for 4 min
Then lower to 200°C for 3 to 4 min
Cool on a wire rack
If you want to have those nice bumps on your madeleines, you have to respect the baking process at 240°C and 200°C, it creates a heat shock necessary for their formation
When do you add the melted butter etc? The recipe just says melt it but does not add it to the rest of the mixture.
