Oh boy! I love this recipe so much, a sweet and healthy treat, you can have them with your morning coffee or even with green tea...

Made with the Cook Expert Magimix.


70 g butter
2 eggs
100 g sugar
20 g milk
115 g flour
8 g baking powder
10 g matcha tea powder
1 pinch of salt
Black sesame

Preheat the oven to 240°C

Melt the butter in a saucepan and let it cool
Put the eggs, salt and sugar into the Cook Expert stainless steel bowl fitted with the eggs whisk (remove the cap)

Run EXPERT / 1 min / SPEED 7 / 0°
Add milk
Run EXPERT / 30 sec / SPEED 7 / 0°
Add flour, baking powder and matcha tea powder
Run EXPERT / 1 min / SPEED 5 / 0°
Then add the melted butter throught the top while runing EXPERT / 1 min / SPEED 5 / 0°

Grease madeleine mold with butter and sprinkle with black sesame
Fill madeleine molds up to 2/3

Bake at 240°C for 4 min
Then lower to 200°C for 3 to 4 min
Cool on a wire rack

If you want to have those nice bumps on your madeleines, you have to respect the baking process at 240°C and 200°C, it creates a heat shock necessary for their formation
