I love this french pastry ! They are so delicious that I usually don't share them... I have no shame to keep this little sweets all for myself... They are so easy to make that you to try this recipe !

Made with the Cook Expert from Magimix.



125 g semi-skimmed
125 g water
110 g butter
140 g flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
4 eggs
Pearl sugar

Place the butter, the milk & the water in the Cook Expert stainless steel bowl
Run EXPERT / 3 min / SPEED 6 / 90°C
Add the flour, the sugar & the salt, remove the cap
Run EXPERT / 2 min / SPEED 3 / 100°
Re-run EXPERT / 2 min / SPEED 10 / 0°
Add the eggs one by one through the opening, you must wait until the egg is completely incorporated before adding the next one
Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a plain tip

Preheat the oven to 180°C

Pipe the dough into small puffs spaced evenly on the baking sheet
Sprinkle each puff with pearl sugar

Bake the chouquettes for 30 min, it's ready when the chouquettes are golden brown
Do not open the oven until it's done
